Dr. LaRay Imani Price, known as "The ResilienceDoc™," is a licensed psychologist, U.S. Army veteran, and creator of the Embraceable Me™ movement—a transformative framework helping women worldwide reclaim their wholeness.
A 4th-generation military service member, Dr. Price served a decade as an Army Psychologist before founding Centers for Counseling and Wellness International, which now serves clients across multiple U.S. states and military installations in Germany, Japan, Italy, and the UK.
In 2020, Dr. Price's own burnout landed her in the emergency room. That wake-up call led to a profound realization: there's a critical difference between self-care and self-love. From that moment, she created the CARESS™ Method and the Embraceable Me™ movement to help high-achieving women stop surviving and start thriving.
Dr. Price is the author of "Embraceable Me: Crowned with Self-Love" and "Radiate Self-Love: Reignite Your Inner Light." She specializes in trauma recovery, resilience-building, and helping women leaders sustain excellence without sacrificing their well-being.
She co-founded "Her Valor, Her Voice" with Retired U.S. Navy Captain Malaysia Harrell and Retired U.S. Army Colonel Norma Ely—an initiative amplifying the stories and addressing the unique challenges of female veterans.
Through her speaking, programs, and clinical practice, Dr. Price's mission is clear: creating a world where mental health is prioritized, resilience is cultivated, and success is genuinely sustainable.
The Resilience Doc teaches that self-love isn't selfish—it's sacred. And embracing yourself fully doesn't mean loving others less; it means loving everyone better.

Embraceable Me™ was born from a sacred truth — that the love we give so freely to others must first be rooted in ourselves.
Founded by Dr. LaRay Imani Price, The Resilience Doc, this movement began with one powerful question:
“What if I embraced myself the way I’ve embraced everyone else?”
From that whisper of self-reflection grew a mission to guide women — especially those who lead, serve, and care deeply — back to their birthright of self-love, rest, and joy.
We are the women who once believed love meant self-sacrifice, now awakening to the truth that self-love is not selfish — it’s sacred.
Through the CARESS™ Framework — Compassion, Acceptance, Rest, Eating Well & Exercise, Social Support, and Self-Care — we’re learning to speak to ourselves with kindness, honor our needs without guilt, and protect our peace without apology.
Across boardrooms and classrooms, churches and military bases, we stand united in reclaiming our crowns — proving that when women learn to love themselves fully, we don’t love others less; we love everyone better, starting with ourselves.
THE CARESS™ METHOD
Six Sacred Practices to Embrace Yourself Fully. The CARESS™ Method is the transformative framework at the heart of Embraceable Me™, teaching you that self-love is not what you do, but who you decide to be.
💜 C — Compassion (Self): Speak to yourself with the kindness you offer everyone else
💜 A — Acceptance (Self): Honor who you are, right now, without fixing or judging
💜 R — Rest: Give yourself permission to pause—it's your birthright, not a reward
💜 E — Eating Well & Exercise: Nourish your body with love, not punishment
💜 S — Social Connections: Surround yourself with souls who celebrate your wholeness
💜 S — Self-Care: Make caring for yourself sacred, not a cherry on top
